Andrea C. Cameron was more than just a loving and dedicated mother; she was a beacon of warmth and generosity in our community. Born in Queens, NY, and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Andrea eventually made Jupiter, Florida, her home. She passed away unexpectedly on February 29, 2020, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire those who knew her.

Professionally, Andrea worked as a Realtor, but her true calling was found in her volunteer work and philanthropic efforts. She was an integral part of her community, consistently giving her time and resources to local charity organizations. Andrea was a constant source of encouragement and support, committed to helping others and always ready to lend a hand and uplift those around her. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact of living with a giving heart.

Riley Hearn, one of the Foundation’s first students to be awarded an Andrea C. Cameron Foundation Scholarship shares, “The word ‘scholarship’ does not fully encapsulate what this foundation has become for me and the other deserving recipients. It has been an honor to witness and be a part of this growing family.”

Lisette Rodea-Llamas, HS Class of ’23, shares, “I am now an incoming second-year student at Northeastern University in Boston. When I was first accepted into Northeastern, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to attend because of the financial burden. Receiving the scholarship lifted a tremendous weight off my shoulders, bringing me one step closer to attending my dream school. Without the ACC Foundation, I wouldn’t have been able to make my dreams a reality. Everyone at the foundation has shown incredible support and kindness; I not only earned a scholarship but also gained an amazing family that I know will help me achieve my goals. I feel so lucky to attend my university and to have opportunities such as studying abroad in London during my first semester. I am excited and thankful to continue my journey with the ACC Foundation by my side.”
