When developer Michael Stamm saw the site which would ultimately become ORO, he recognized the vast potential to create something special. What unfolded is pure magic; a symphonic performance of his dream team, with Stamm as the conductor. ORO offers the best of South Florida living with all the amenities one could dream of. The 16,345-square foot home features a sleek yet inviting design that’s well-suited for both snowbirds and families who live here year-round.

This property has been a vision in the making for four years, with acclaimed luxury real estate advisors Michael Costello and Chris Deitz there every step of the way to help ensure that this home is one of the most sought-after pieces of residential real estate in Northern Palm Beach County. Thanks to developer Stamm’s dream team consisting of Seagate Capital Construction, Insite Studios’ Bryan Donahue, Mitch Kunik of Affiniti Architects, and Decorators Unlimited’s Jason Lynn and Jack Lonetto, they’ve created a masterpiece that celebrates everything to love about the our unique lifestyle, while highlighting its utmost design sensibilities.

“New construction is really hard to find down here at this point,” says Costello. “There’s so very little of it out there, and once you get into properties over 10,000 square feet, it’s even more difficult to find. This project was a big undertaking and not many developers want to take on a project of this scale, so this house is a really unique opportunity.”

The setting is unique by South Florida standards, with an other-worldly feel. Located on a prime stretch of intracoastal and nestled in an intimate gated community in Palm Beach Gardens, the site is idyllic in that it offers significant acreage, direct ocean access for boaters, and a desirable spot on the intracoastal between the Jupiter and Palm Beach inlets. Inherently zen with lush landscaping, the compound is secluded in additional privacy with its own gate. The residence emphasizes natural elements and highlights the tropical landscape at every turn to offer the pinnacle of South Florida indoor-outdoor living. Connecting with the outside world is easy…. World class golfing, dining, shopping and education is 5 minutes away, and the airport is less than 30 minutes.

One of the big wins on this project was the ability to master grand scale and balance with cozy living spaces that don’t overwhelm. The home has a warmth and depth to it not always found in more modern structures, giving it a wide appeal to a variety of buyers. Stamm shares, “We wanted to stay away from standard millwork or an ultra-contemporary box…. we created a Tahitian modern with a resort feel. Every aspect of the build and finishes are top of the line; no compromises were made. ORO sets a new standard in waterfront living in Palm Beach County.”

When the Decorators Unlimited team came in, Senior Designer Jack Lonetto felt it was important to establish a greater relation between the stunning architecture and the interior design to really highlight the home’s prominence and ethos. “I have a background in architecture so I really wanted to find a way to bring those exterior materials inside,” says Lonetto. “I liked the idea of layering and nuancing tone on tone for this project, so we did have to look at texture, subtle pattern, sheen finishes, and other sorts of things that don’t normally seem like upfront design cues that would become the prominent features of the house. We wanted to create interest without overwhelming the project with color.”

The team wanted to build a stylish canvas that the future owner can add upon and suit their own design personality, so they leaned into softer furnishings with more rounded edges that further emphasized materiality, texture, and pattern in a restrained way. The end result offers an unexpected, yet pleasing, contrast to the strong, masculine lines of the home’s architecture.

While the home’s design itself is timeless, its features and amenities are both comprehensive and forward-thinking. The six-bedroom, 11-bathroom home (which includes a guest house and trophy garage) includes everything one could imagine to have in the comforts of their own home.

A slew of wellness spaces, from a gym and sauna to a place designated for hair and massage as well as a chic outdoor fitness pavilion, ensure you can maintain optimal health while savoring your home’s unparalleled views. Naturally, the home is an entertainer’s dream with a club room housing a stunning custom wine feature wall, multiple covered loggias with connecting bridges for larger gatherings, and recessed kitchen screens that allow one to sequester or open up the area to the dining room depending on the occasion.

The large office, located upstairs with a bird’s eye view from the front to the back of the property is spacious enough to conduct in-person group meetings. Those seeking a place to get some real work done will appreciate the added privacy feature: at the flip of a switch, the glass walls become opaque. There is also a separate guest house with its own garage, and at the entrance there is a private Amazon package center to make online shopping (and returns) a breeze.
